Having a healthy mouth is important to your overall immune state. There are good and bad bacteria residing in our mouths. It’s our job to keep the optimal balance. Oral Supreme from Supreme Nutrition Products is a combination of oils that help keep this balance in favor of good bacteria.
The Bad Guy…Biofilms
Many people have bacteria, viruses and other microbes hiding in their mouths and under their gums. This is sometimes called dental biofilms. These microbes can move down the digestive tract and cause havoc with the immune system. As they move down the esophagus to the stomach, stomach acid will help break up these microbes so they don’t cause more damage and disease in the small or large intestines. Unfortunately, many people either have low stomach acid or they are on acid blockers, both of which impairs one of the first lines of attack for microbes. This can cause an imbalance in the gut.
OS to the Rescue!
Oral Supreme is a great antimicrobial to bacteria, parasites, fungi, and spirochetes (the bacteria responsible for Lyme’s disease is a spirochete)
A-Team Ingredients
- Pomegranate seed oil has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties and is effective in reducing plaque and gingival bleeding when used as a mouthwash
- Cassia oil has shown to be effective for candida, staph, pseudomonas, and other biofilms
- Tea tree oil has also been shown to be effective for candida, staph, pseudomonas, and other biofilms
- Rosemary oil has shown to be effective for candida Albicans, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis, Streptococcus mutans, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and E.Coli biofilms
- Peppermint oil has shown to be effective for staph and e.coli biofilms
The How-To
- Place a drop on an applicator or a clean finger and apply it where the teeth meet the gums on both the lingual (tongue facing) and buccal (cheek facing) surfaces. Do this before and after brushing.
- Twice weekly put 2 drops in a small glass of water and soak your toothbrush (can be as short a time as 10 minutes)
- Stop if you feel you are sensitive to the oil blend- rash, etc.
Keeping in mind that your mouth is the beginning of the intestinal tract, it makes sense, that in keeping it healthy, the rest of the tract will benefit.
